LAYING THE GHOST, is a witty and uproarious play written by Simon Williams (Upstairs, Downstairs) and directed by Chris Hunnisset.

The play is set in Yew Tree House, a retirement home for actors and actresses. The plot revolves around an ex-actress, Margot Buchanan (Linda Connor) and a wonderful collection of interesting characters. Sir Leo Buchanan (Mike Downes) is Margot’s ex-husband and is a philanderer and womaniser. Unfortunately he suffers a fatal heart attack, and the scene is set for much chaos and hilarity as his ghost appears, anxious to sort out matters between his three women!
