Step into the woods with us this May for William Shakespeare’s most beloved comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Experience the magic of the fairy realm and the hilarious mishaps of the Mechanicals in a production that stays true to the Bard’s original, timeless language.

For this production, we are breaking the fourth wall and stepping off the stage. In a departure from our usual layout, the entire show will be performed at ground level, bringing the enchantment of the forest floor right to your feet.
Join us for a unique, intimate evening of tangled lovers and mischievous sprites.

Centre Stage began in 1985 when founder member Bryan Marlow put an advert in the local paper to set up a village drama group. The wheels were set in motion for what was to become Balsall Common’s first amateur dramatics society.

Centre Stage is proud to welcome all experience levels. Over the years we have tackled every aspect of theatre and as the group continues to develop we see bigger and better productions continually raising the benchmark for great theatre.
